Leadership and Support
Behind every team at the Ballina Bears is a group of leaders and volunteers who keep the club running week after week. Our captains set the standard on the field, leading by example with their skill, sportsmanship and commitment to the team.
Supporting them is a wonderful network of team managers, scorers, umpires, ground helpers and canteen volunteers. Team managers look after communication with players and families, organise game day details and make sure everyone knows where they need to be. Our scorers and umpires keep matches running smoothly, while our ground and canteen crews make Fripp Oval a great place to play and watch cricket.
Our junior cricket is supported by a dedicated junior coordinator and parent helpers who ensure that every young player has a safe, positive and enjoyable experience. Their care and encouragement helps our juniors grow in confidence both on and off the field.
These roles are the heart of our club, and none of it would be possible without the generosity of our volunteers. If you would like to support the Bears this season, we would love to hear from you. No experience is needed, just a willingness to help and be part of our community.
