Play for the Bears

Looking for a club for the 2026/27 season? The Ballina Bears Cricket Club is recruiting players of all ages and abilities, and we would love to hear from you.

The Bears are one of the most successful clubs on the Far North Coast. Our seniors are chasing a third premiership in a row, which would take the club back into first grade, and we are building a strong squad to get there. Whether you are an experienced cricketer new to the area, returning to the game or looking for a fresh challenge, there is a spot for you in our senior grades.

Our home ground is Fripp Oval in Ballina, with change rooms, a canteen and lights for evening cricket. Training runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 7pm, with a free BBQ after Thursday sessions, and games are played on Saturdays.

We also offer junior teams at Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 16s, plus our Blast Program for girls and boys aged 5 to 10.

Registration is the best value in the area. Juniors are $106 and seniors are $200, including your playing shirt, pants, cap, wide brim hat and training shirt. The Blast Program is $107 for the season.
