Club Policies

Keeping cricket safe, fair and inclusive for everyone.

Our Commitment

The Ballina Bears Cricket Club is committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for everyone involved in our club, including players, coaches, officials, volunteers, families and supporters.

Our club policies set out the standards we expect from all members and help us make sure cricket at the Bears is enjoyable, fair and safe for all. They are aligned with the guidelines of Cricket Australia and Cricket NSW, and they are reviewed regularly by the committee.

We take the safety and wellbeing of children and young people especially seriously. All coaches and volunteers who work with juniors are expected to hold a current Working With Children Check and to follow our child safe practices at training, on game day and at club events.

We also expect every member to treat others with respect, play in the spirit of cricket and help us create a club where everyone feels they belong. Bullying, discrimination and abusive behaviour have no place at the Bears.

Full copies of our policies will be available to download below. If you have any questions or concerns about a policy, or would like to raise an issue confidentially, please contact the club Secretary or President.
