Ballina Bears junior cricket is where Northern Rivers kids learn the game, make lifelong mates and grow into the cricketers they want to be. Girls and boys are equally welcome in every age group, whether they have played for years or have never held a bat. If your child loves being outdoors, being part of a team and having a go, there is a spot for them at the Bears.
Training
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5pm to 7pm. Free BBQ after Thursday training.
Game day
Saturdays through the season, home games at Fripp Oval, Ballina.
Cost
$106 for the season, full playing kit included.

Junior registration is just $106, and that includes a full kit: playing shirt, pants, cap, wide brim hat and a training shirt. No hidden extras and no expensive uniform shop visits. Your child walks onto the field looking every bit a Bear from day one.
Why the Bears?
Our coaches focus on skills, confidence and enjoyment in equal measure. Every player gets real time with bat and ball, and nobody sits on the sidelines wondering when their turn will come. Our juniors train alongside a senior club chasing its third premiership in a row, so there are role models everywhere you look.
Parents are part of the family too. Thursday BBQs, social nights and a friendly crowd on the boundary every weekend make the Bears a great place for the whole family to belong.
